Roz Says: No Trust... What Next?

Just when I think I have seen it all, something new pops up and knocks the wind out of my sails! What next!

A couple of months ago my Judaic eCard Club celebrated its third anniversary. To celebrate and “to give back” I created a raffle and offered eight “free/complimentary” eCard Club Memberships as prizes — ranging from 1 month to 1 year.

At the end of the raffle I notified the eight winners. The response and/or lack of blew me away!

  • The one-year winner was delighted and supplied me with the required information.
  • The six-month winner said: (paraphrasing) “I hope this is legit!”
  • The three-month winner said: (paraphrasing) I was all ready to take advantage of your nice service when I noticed “You are supporting the troops!” He went on from there and even went as far as sending me links relating to how America is militaristic.
  • One of the one-month members neglected to supply the required information.
  • The other four one-month winners NEVER responded — even after a second reminder notice.
It is beyond me what one has to do for the public to take them seriously. This really knocked me for a loop! Have we become so jaded that we cannot recognize a legitimate offer?

REVIEW: Whole Enchilada / Eric Lofholm - My First Protege Call

MY... First Protege Call / Eric Lofholm's "Whole Enchilada Selling System.

Tonight was the first Protege Call I attended since I officially joined Eric's program this past Monday.

This week's call was geared to establishing a WINNING "Mindset of a Sales Champion!"

The one-hour phone call was jam-packed with selling scenarios and "real-life" advice on what to do when, what to do if, how to handle this and how to handle that. At the end of the call the lines were opened up for participants to share and ask Eric questions.

While the call was extremely stimulating and more than a little motivating... the best part is that we can listen to it again at a later date. It is the kind of encouragement and support everyone needs to hear -- over and over again -- as... "selling is not always all the fun it is cracked up to be!"

So far, so good... I am very pleased!

ROZ VIEW: FREE Teleseminars

I have written on this subject many times, but I cannot say it enough...

Nothing is coming to any of us. We all must make our own way and take advantage of ALL the opportunities that present themselves. One of these opportunities are the many FREE Teleseminars that are offered all over the place.

Many of them are truly Win/Win.

To the presenter:

  • They offer an opportunity to reach more people and spread the work about their services while offering a birds eye view of their techniques and expertise.
To the audience (YOU!) they offer opportunities to:
  • learn new things
  • keep up with what new and exciting in your industry or an industry that you are interested in learning about
  • form new relationships
  • meet new people
  • become familiar with the teaching techniques and expertise of life coaches, instructors, etc.
  • an opportunity to receive free items/services, etc.
  • an opportunity to receive discounts on products and services you might not otherwise be able to take advantage of
  • so much more than I can't list it all
Don't lose out. All it will cost you is time, IF you have an Unlimited Long Distance plan.

Roz Says: Uncluttering Incentives...

In the spirit of sharing...

I have dedicated the entire month of July to uncluttering my home and opening up the space to providing an atmosphere of creativity! As strange as this seems, I am getting really excited about this, something I have not felt in years! I am unloading the past to make room for the future!

Anyway... to provide me an *incentive fix* each day I watch: *Clean Sweep* on the *Learning Channel!*

Clean Sweep is on twice a day during the week at 10AM and 6PM. Not sure what the hours are on the weekends.

It's a really good program and it has helped me a great deal.

This is my good deed for the day in sharing it!

Have fun!

Roz

Roz Says: July is Uncluttering Month...

Pardon me while I take a break and unclutter my home and work area to create an atmosphere conducive to creativity and joy!
